With the latest theme ‘Cool Blues Meet Sultry Browns’, BONIA debuted its 2009 collection in glitzy evening preview at, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Over 100 new designs were showcased including International Superstar Kelly Chen from Hong Kong, Ming Dao & Bianca Bai Xin Hui from Taiwan as well as local celebrities Noryn Aziz, Adi Putra and Rynn Lim.

The Cool Blues Meet Sultry Browns theme gives the latest collection of bags and wallets a fresh twist. BONIA’s designs combine shiny metal buckles in gold or silver tones, swingy, ultra-feminine tassels and colour contrasts with eye catching results. Further appealing to the senses, both natural leather and composite materials are enhanced with texturing such as croco, monogram and detailed embossing that demand to be touched.

Group Managing Director of BONIA, Mr. Albert Chiang said: “The BONIA 2009 product preview showcase latest collection for the coming year. The theme ‘Cool Blues Meet Sultry Browns’ brings colours inspired by the Seven Seas and Dunes of the Desert giving the myriad shades of blues and browns as the main colours for the years. Accenting shades of Whites and Blacks complements the whole package.”

The new collection of ladies shoes has also been lovingly crafted from genuine calf leather for maximum comfort. The Cool Blues range shines with silver trimmings, creative material striping and striking linings for shimmering contrast. Gold trim, fine stitching and signature print in their turn, are the outstanding details of the Sultry Browns range. For the ever-elegant Cristallo range, Swarovski crystals sparkle as its main accessories, truly the leading stars of the ladies’ shoes collection and the perfect finishing touch to any evening outfit.

The latest range of men’s shoes combines style and comfort with the aim of keeping your feet cool and dry all day long. Whether sandals, casual or contemporary formal shoes, BONIA shoes are all made from premium leather or canvas. The collection features detailing in the form of contrasted stitching, cleverly combined patterned canvas, textured and fine leather effects that add up to stylish, high fashion looks. The uniqueness of this latest range is in the comfort level; the breathable leather lining releases moisture fast, keeping the feet dry. The padded and cushioned insoles offer the ultimate in comfort and design.

For the BONIA men’s apparel collection, the theme is played out almost entirely in a breezy palette of blue and white, with warm accents of red, yellow and brown. The collection consists of casual and business shirts, bermudas, cotton pants and slacks.

Local celebrities Deborah Henry, Amber Chia, Jeffrey Cheng, Daniel Tan, Xandria Ooi, Jonathan Putra, Alan Yun, Emily Poon, Joanne Yew, Hansen Lee, Gan Mei Yan, John Oh, Yise Loo, Phirence Tan, Freeman Woo, Jojo Struys, Karmen Khor and Johnson Low were gracing the event while wearing Bonia products. Joining them were  performance by local singers; Rynn Lim, Noryn Aziz and International Superstar Kelly Chen at the evening’s finale.
