TANG+CO Autumn / Winter 2008 Collection.  





KUALA LUMPUR, 14th November 2008: The lifestyle concept boutique located at Kuala Lumpur, TANG+Co is offering the best of international new luxury labels, presents its Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection with strong influences from the 70s, mixing casual, fluid and fantastical looks. Inspired by its new collection, prominent fashion authorities have translated these looks into the inaugural issue of the TANG+Co lookbook, with international models Daria Strokus and Eduardo Braun.

The TANG+Co Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection introduces a stellar line up of designer labels like Alannah Hill, Rebecca Taylor, Tara Jarmon, Trina Turk, Beverly Feldman, Armand Basi and David Mayer, representing the best of the season with an exquisite selection of ready-to-wear and 'must-have' shoes and bags for the modern fashion elite.

TANG+Co Women


This season, TANG+Co Women takes inspirations from 70s Halston, Bohemian and Surrealism for its key looks. Further to his mainline, Roberto Cavalli introduced his Class line, a knitwear collection. The glamorous clothing with glowing prints and sparkling embroidery from Class by Roberto Cavalli is designed for the modern, emancipated women. Combining exotic style with ethnic-chic look is France's Antik Batik. With its myriad of sunny colours and embellishment, eye-catching prints and artisanship, Antik


Batik sends out statement pieces of stylish tunics and kaftans. American-based designer, Trina Turk, who is known for her sophisticated signature prints and an amazing pant fit, makes a debut in Malaysia. Inspired by the multicultural mix, architecture, and landscape of Los Angeles and California, the collection is full of this season's most casually sophisticated and must haves silhouettes. Sharpen your style with wearable, optimistic fashion that incorporates best aspects of classics American sportswear. Australian label Alannah Hill also presents an idiosyncratic and intensely feminine collection of whimsy romantic knits, silky lace camisoles and signature printed frocks.


Shoe lovers will be excited with the extensive variety of shoes at TANG+Co Women. From quirky animal prints to lavish ornamentation and splashy floral, Beverly Feldman shoes will add a punch of glamour and colours to your everyday life. Jaime Mascaro, purveyors of dynamic high fashion footwear is premiering this season as well as the collection represents a style befitting an elegant and sophisticated woman of today. From strappy sandals, sexy sandals, flat sandals to pumps, the Mascaro shoes combine design with traditional craftsmanship, at the same time using state-of-the-art technology in the production process.



Discerning men out there can also take their picks from the latest key pieces inspired by trends like New Gentlemen and Rock God at TANG+Co Men. Spanish fashion house Armand Basi re-invents the traditional cut and classic suit this season, with an impressive collection that combines versality and modern chic. Enlivened with touches of strong colours like red and magenta, it has a strong New Gentlemen look with interplay of contrasting textures and clever layering. Classic accessories like gentlemen scarves and bowties complement the whole mix of formal wear and casual styling perfectly. Poggianti 1958 also continues to wow with an extensive collection of dress shirt made in Italy. The brand is known for the most comprehensive fabric selection of any woven shirt line.


Coast, Weber & Ahaus originated from Italy as a range of men's shirts (with its Coast label) but has since expanded with the addition of pants and jackets (under the Weber Line), together with knits and tops (under the Ahaus line). These three lines complement each other to offer mix-and-match versatility, which represents a fresh change from the usual `total look'.

Named twice as CFDA's (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Menswear Designer of the Year, John Varvatos understands that style-craving man seek but upscale that will not scream fashion or trend. Responsible for the launch of Calvin Klein's men's collection in the early days, he started his youthful line, John Varvatos Star USA, which embodies a preppy-meets-punk with casual and well-tailored pieces.


Expect a level of comfort and luxury while keeping with the elegance of the heyday of British shoemaking with a range of stylish, meticulously crafted footwear from Jeffery West. Well-known for its sleek designs with traditional characteristics, each and every style has its own signature `twist' of originality, be it hand burnished uppers, diamond broguing, Gothic influences and its infamous and much copied cleft heel.
